We send our deepest sympathy to the Orvis family at this time of grieving. The nice thing about growing up in a small community, everyone is like family and you do practically everything together. That we are no different in our community. Most all the boys in high school participated in every sport and building friendships for a lifetime. I feel very blessed to have been able to play two years of sports with Leland and his classmates. His class was the leaders of us underclassmen. When his class were seniors they lead us to the state basketball tournament for the first time in Wilsonville history. We have all moved away to different communities, but still remain friends. He may be out of our midst, but he will not be forgotten. We pray the family will have fond memories that will carry them through this time of grieving.

I sorry to hear of the passing of Leland. To the family of Mr. Orvis know you have been in my thoughts and prayers. I thank Mr. Orvis for his service to our country. Perhaps he will meet up with my Dad Johnny and they can swap military stories. Johnny was Air Force during the Korean War. With my deepest sympathy, Dea L. Binger
