Ada Martha Williams died Friday, November 25, 2005 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook. She was 88 years old.

She was born August 20, 1917 at Gandy, Nebraska to George Albert and Amelia Jane (Clark) Jewel. She attended rural school near Maywood and high school in Hayes Center.

She married Richard “Stanley” Williams in El Monte, CA on May 15, 1938. She moved to McCook in the late 70’s.

She was preceded in death by her husband on September 24, 2002; her parents and a brother, Wiley Jewel; and special care giver and cousin, William “Bill” Clark.

Survivors include a son, Richard William, Jr. of Denver, CO; a daughter, Mildred Jewel of Columbus; and special care giver Glora Clark.

Memorials may be given in her name.

A graveside inurnment service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook.
