Oxford, NE

Albert James Wright, age 78, of Oxford, NE passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Holdrege Memorial Homes in Holdrege, NE.

AJ was born November 8, 1941 in Denver, CO to parents Emmanuel James and Dorthey Fern (Thornley) Wright. AJ graduated from high school in Missouri. Following high school, AJ enlisted in the United Stated Army where he proudly served his country until his Honorable Discharge in 1964.

AJ was a member of the Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge and the American Legion. He was often called upon by the Honor Guard for Rifle Duty.

AJ was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Wright; half sister, Lois Mitchem, and stepbrother, Jim Wright.

(Tonya) Wright of Alma, NE; brother, Kent (Elizabeth) Wright of Huntsville, AL; sister, Georgiabelle (Jim) Witt of Boise, ID; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and close friends.
