Betty Jo McArthur, age 92, of Stratton, NE passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the Dundy County Hospital in Benkelman, NE.

Betty Jo was born November 27, 1927 in Winner, South Dakota to parents Forest D. and Ann (Vandermeer) Hite.  She attended school in South Dakota and later went on to obtain her Bachelors Degree.

On January 21, 1960 Betty Jo married Edward McArthur in Seattle, WA.  The couple later relocated to Stratton where they made their home.

Betty Jo enjoyed reading, hiking, painting and studying genealogy.

Betty Jo was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Ed.

Those left to celebrate her life include her adopted family, Joel and Ronnie Richardson of Stratton.
