Bruce Gerald Carlson, 55, died Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at his home in McCook.

Bruce was born on June 25, 1951, in Clarinda, Iowa to Donald and Betty (Eggers) Stone.

On September 22, 1957, Betty married Kenneth Verner Carlson in Atwood, Kansas. Bruce and his siblings were adopted by Kenneth on June 21, 1958.

Bruce was preceded in death by his grandparents; and mother, Betty in 1996.

Survivors include his father, Kenneth of McCook; and two sisters, Carol Koerperich of Wilsonville and Norma and husband, Ralph Crowe, of Richland, WA.

His body was cremated and a private family inurnment was held in the Wilsonvillle Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in his name and sent to the funeral home.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
