Catherine Rose Stratman age 90, formerly of Stratton, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook.

She was born on June 23, 1923 to parents, George and Johanna (Mader) Meng in Sioux County, Nebraska.

On April 3, 1956 she was united in marriage to Walter John Stratman.

She is survived by daughter, Barbara Hartsell of Traverse City, MI.

Memorials may be given in her name.

Rosary will be recited Monday, April 21, 2014, 6:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stratton. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 22, 2014, 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph with Father Thomas Wiedel as Celebrant. Inurnment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
