Charles David “Dave” Walsh, age 49, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Community Hospital of McCook.

Dave was born on December 17, 1966 in McHenry, Illinois to Charles David and Carol (Longley) Walsh, Sr.

He was a member of the NRA, he liked to shoot guns and work as a gunsmith.

Dave enjoyed working on cars and taking them to the race track.  He loved to play video games and spend time with his cats.

Survivors include his girlfriend, Karen Brunswick and her children, Joe, Michelle, Kimberly and Kelsie of Curtis; son, Daniel (Jessica Connelly) Walsh of Colorado Springs, CO; parents, Charles and Carol Walsh of McHenry, IL; maternal grandmother, Verda Longley of McHenry, IL; brother, Chris (Lisa) Walsh of Visalia, CA; sister, Catherine (Jay) Helmer of Kissimmee, FL.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; paternal grandparents; and maternal grandfather.

Memorials may be given to the charity of one’s choice.
