Connie Joyce Reiners

Connie Joyce Reiners of Trenton passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Community Hospital in McCook. She was 64 years old.
Connie was born on September 30, 1949 at McCook to parents Franklin John and Irene Isabelle (Cotton) Reiners. As a child she was baptized into the Catholic faith at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola. She graduated from Red Willow High School in 1967.
After graduation Connie moved to Denver where she was employed by Samsonite Luggage, Safeway Groceries and Anderson News. She moved back to the Trenton community in 2011.
Connie always had a love for the farm. She was a Daddy's girl always helping with the farming. She had a passion for John Deere tractors, watching the crops grow, taking drives around the country, and just being on the farm. Other interests included hunting pheasants, playing softball and spending time with her many nieces and nephews. She was an avid Husker and Bronco football fan as well as Rockies baseball fan.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Franklin and Irene Reiners; brother, William Reiners and nephew, Bryon Scott.
Survivors include her siblings, Donald Reiners and wife, Lois, and Richard "Dick" Reiners all of Indianola; sisters, Colette Reiners of Denver, CO and Carol VanCleave of Trenton; nieces and nephews, Angela (Bart) Nichols of Gothenburg, John (Jennifer) Reiners of Spearfish, SD, Joe (Heather) Reiners of Hudson, FL, Michelle (Andrew) Hedke of McCook, Amber (Rick) Gleason of Palisade, Kerry (JoHanna) Scott of McCook, Kevin (Kate) Reiners of Elwood, Alissa (Adam) Papiernik of Ord, Darrell (Kathi) VanCleave of Aurora, CO and Christina (Jason) Jude of Greeley, CO; numerous great-nieces and nephews, family and a host of friends.
Memorials may be given in her name.
There will not be a visitation as cremation was chosen. Friends may send condolences to the family at www.carpenterbreland.com.
Rosary will be recited Wednesday, November 20, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home in McCook.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, November 21, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola with Father Thomas McGuire as celebrant. Inurnment will follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery.
