Danny Lab

Danny Lab, age 68 of Genoa, Nebraska, died Sunday, April 1, 2018, at his home in Genoa.

Dan was born July 3, 1949, in Seward, Nebraska, to Curt and Jenny (Soukop) Lab. He grew up in Milford and graduated from Milford High School in 1967. He worked in an auto body repair shop for several years in Milford. On June 25, 2977, Danny was united in marriage to Teresa Harris in Milford. He later attained his degree in accounting and worked as a business manager for NTV in Kearney before they moved to Genoa in 1997. He enjoyed doing his yard work, taking care of the squirrels and birds, and watching Nebraska football. He also enjoyed doing the outside displays for Halloween and Christmas and was known for the Santa video and loved shooting off fireworks on the Fourth of July.

Dan is survived by his wife Teresa Lab of Genoa; daughter, Marci (John) Kugler of Omaha; son, Nathan Lab of Omaha; sister, Kathy Lundstrom of Stromsburg; sister-in-law, Kathleen (Kenny) Jankovitz of Culbertson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Curt and Jenny Lab; brother-in-law, James Lundstrom; and a niece, Rhonda Emerson.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 6, at 10:00 AM, at the Genoa City Hall with Rev. Murry Jay Johnston officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at the Culbertson Cemetery.
