Darian Wayne Marston

Darian Wayne Marston, a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, fiancé and friend, tragically passed away on July 4, 2025, in Kansas at the age of 21.

Darian was born in McCook, Nebraska on February 19, 2004, to parents Clint W. Marston and Dusty J. Mason. Growing up, Darian would love to ride bikes, wrestle, play in the snow and listen to anything with music.

In his professional life, Darian worked at Ace Hardware Store. In his free time, Darian could be found spending time with his daughter, Abbey, fiancé, Lily, family and friends. He was always there for his family during the good and bad times. Darian enjoyed being active by camping, swimming, or playing basketball, football, and video games. Darian was very smart, he could do very large math problems in his head.

Darian will be remembered for bringing life and laughter into every single room he ever stepped foot in. He was so carefree, enjoyed life to the fullest, and never cared what anyone else thought about him. He was the true definition of unique, loyal, special and cherished.

Darian’s legacy is survived by his parents, Clint Marston and Dusty Mason; sisters, Destiny, Serenity, and Faith Marston all of Lincoln, NE; daughter Abbey Kay Marston of McCook, NE; fiancé Lily Sheldon of McCook, NE expecting baby boy Morgan Darian Wayne Marston; paternal grandmother, Nancy Marston of Colorado; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Darian is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Darrell Marston, and maternal grandparents Debra Coulter and Harold Mason.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 2-4pm at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home in McCook, NE.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the West First Chapel in McCook, NE with Johnny Walker, officiating.
