Biography

Dolores "Dee" Faye Reyes died at her home in McCook on Sunday, April 18, 2004. She was 72 years old.

Dee was born on August 27, 1931, in Wayne, NE to Otto Clause and Thelma (Nichols) Rosacker. She attended school in Wayne.

She married Duane Herfel at Sioux City, Iowa. To this union one daughter, Debra, was born.

Dee made her home in Denver for over 40 years. She was employed in the clerical department of Bank One until her retirement. She later was employed by Pharm-America, a Pharmaceutical Company. In 2002, she moved to McCook to be closer to family. Dee began working for Country Kitchen Restaurant until her health prevented her from working.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Duane; daughter, Debra; brother, Dwayne Rosacker; and sister, Donna Harder.

Survivors include her two sisters, Diana and husband, Duane Tappe, of McCook and Dorothy Kay of Wakefield; numerous nieces and nephews; her friends at Country Kitchen and her caring neighbors.

Private family services will be held at a later time.
