Obituary
Francisco Hernandez, age 66, of Fort Morgan, Colorado passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in McCook, Nebraska.
Francisco was born April 18, 1946 in Durango, Mexico to parents Francisco Hernandez and Maria del Rosario Maynez (Amaya) Corral. He was one of nine children.
Throughout his life, Francisco enjoyed horses and participating in Charreria. In 1970, Francisco married Olivia Vega in Culiacan Sinaloa, Mexico. In 1978, the family moved to California where they made their home until 1999.
Francisco was employed by Hines Nursery. Upon retirement, Francisco moved to Fort Morgan, Colorado where he remained until his failing health required him to be closer to his sons in McCook.
Francisco was a member of the Catholic Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Olivia Vega; five sons, Ismael (Marcy) Hernandez, Armando (Herlinda) Hernandez, Francisco Hernandez, Javier Hernandez and Freddy Hernandez; three brothers; four sisters; and nine grandchildren, Mando, Frank, Olivia, Leslie, Analise, Britney, Julian, Ashley and Yliana.
