George Washington Strunk III

George Washington Strunk III passed away in his home in McCook, NE on July 12, 2025.

George was born on December 1, 1960, in Muncie, IN to parents Shelia M. (Duncan) and George W. Strunk II.

George worked in construction for most of his life.

Those left to celebrate George’s life are his brother Kent (Susan) Strunk of McCook, NE; sister, Janet (Randy) Myers of Gaston, IN; and nieces, nephews, and extended family.

George is preceded in death by his parents, one son George Washington Strunk IV, brother Charles Strunk, sisters Bertha Campbell and Sue Chambers.

George will be laid to rest with other family members in Tennessee at a later date.
