Greggory D. Thompson

Greggory D. Thompson, age 63, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at his home in McCook.
Greggory was born October 4, 1950 to Dale and Iris (Joy) Thompson in McCook. He graduated from McCook Sr. High in 1968 and then went on to McCook Community College for 2 years, earning an Associates degree.
He married Susan Tryon in McCook on August 19, 1994.
He was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church. Greggory worked form Burlington Northern Railroad and the Red Willow County Weed district before beginning GT systems, a construction company.
Greggory enjoyed gardening, woodworking and shooting pool. He was a big College football fan, especially the Huskers. His family enjoyed his cooking, his specialty were Runzas.
Survivors include his wife, Susan of McCook; son, Jeremy Thompson of Scottsdale, AZ; daughters, Heather Beavers of Columbus, NE and Angie Thompson of Kearney, NE; step-daughter, Rene Jackson of Dallas, TX; sister, Jannette Demarest of Hewitt, NJ; and 9 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Iris; brother, Donald; and sister, Cindy.
Memorials may be given in his name in care of Susan.
