Judy Fahrenbruch

Judy Renee Fahrenbruch, age 50, of Axtell, NE went to rest in the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Kearney Regional Hospital in Kearney, NE surrounded by her family and friends.

Judy was born October 16, 1967 to David and Delores (DeVall) Fahrenbruch in McCook.  She was one of three daughters.  She resided in Culbertson with her family until age 12 when she moved to Bethphage Mission in Axtell, NE. She resided in Axtell until the time of her death.

When Judy was six years old she began attending the Child Development Center in McCook until she was 12 years old.

Judy loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was attached to her Winnie the Pooh and also loved going for car rides in the country, enjoying the outdoors. A highlight of Judy’s week was going to church each Sunday and listening to the music at Mosaic where she formally resided.  Judy had a gentle spirit and always had a smile. She was loved deeply by all who know her. Judy had dozens of wonderful care givers, but had an extra special bond with Cheri Turpin, Linzy Knuth and Alli Dobush. They remained at her bedside during Judy’s final days.

Judy is survived by her mother, Delores of McCook; sisters, Ann Schroat and special friend, Dean Burnside of McCook, Christine Fahrenbruch also of McCook; uncles and aunts, Dennis (Phyllis) Fahrenbruch of Culbertson; Rosie Griffing of McCook; and Cindy (Jerry) Mills of Bolivar, NY; and a nephew Billy Ray Havel of North Platte, NE.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Fahrenbruch; grandparents, Harry and Doris Fahrenbruch and LeRoy and Darlene DeVall.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. running till 8:00 p.m., family greeting friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home in McCook.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mosaic Bethphage Village in Axtell, Nebraska with Pastor John Gosswin officiating. A graveside service with Pastor Bruce Lester officiating will follow at the Culbertson Cemetery at 3:30 p.m.
