JuneLee (Benjamin) Davis

June 24, 1942 — December 20, 2013

JuneLee (Benjamin) Davis passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on Friday, December 20, 2013, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook. She was 71 years old.

June was born on June 24, 1942, at McCook to parents, Raymond and Wilma (Broomfield) Benjamin. She graduated from McCook High School in 1960.

On November 14, 1964, June was united in marriage to Stanley Eugene Davis at the First Congregational Church in McCook. They made their home in McCook where June was a busy mother and homemaker. She was also an integral part of the family business, Mid-State Systems, of which she was office manager and bookkeeper.

She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Her hobbies included quilting, sewing, reading, and spending time in her yard and garden. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was her utmost joy.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Stan Davis on September 2, 1999; parents, Raymond and Wilma Benjamin; granddaughter, Ashley; and niece, Robin (Benjamin).

Survivors include her four daughters; twins, Kim and husband, Rick Johnson and Kandie and husband, Hugh McCauley, Kerri and husband, Dave Unger, all of McCook, and Kristin and husband, Brett Brown, of Dallas, TX; 13 grandchildren, Nicole Hajek, Blake Brown, Devon and Whitni Davis, Lauren, Katie and Ryan Unger, and Spencer, Stuart, Lexi, Skyler, Lindi and Laini Johnson; four great-grandchildren, Haley Teppert, Mia Smith, Jude Hajek and Liam Johnson; three brothers, Don Benjamin of Nenzil, NE, Darrell Benjamin of Tulsa, OK and Lloyd Benjamin and wife, Elizabeth, of McCook; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
