Kim Shari Falciani of McCook, NE, age 65, passed away with her family by her side on April 4, 2024, at her home in McCook. 

Kim was born January 19, 1959, in Bristol, Connecticut to parents Joseph and Priscilla (Poplaski) Martin.  

Kim met James Falciani while working at Ralph’s Grocery Store in Oceanside, California. The couple married on August 23,1986 at San Luis Rey Mission in Oceanside, California.

In her youth, Kim enjoyed gymnastics and softball. In adulthood, she collected lighthouses, ocean and Hawaii decor, and was very creative.  Kim loved to listen to music and was a faithful attendee of the Lighthouse Marina summer concert series at Red Willow Lake near McCook. Her grandchildren, James and Jacob, were her pride and joy and she enjoyed spoiling them any chance she got. 

Kim was a member of the Catholic Faith and while living in McCook she taught CCD Classes at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, where she was also a member. 

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Martin; mother and stepfather, William and Pricilla Paterson; brother, Gary Valente; and brother in law, Gary Brazee. 

Those left to celebrate her life include her husband, James Falciani of McCook, NE; children, Jason Hucker of California and Anita Falciani and Gina (Joe) Vetrovsky, all of McCook, NE; sisters, Diane Brazee of Pittsfield MA and Suzanne (Ronald) Oreb of Van, TX; cousin, Lori (Ray) Carver of San Diego, CA; three grandchildren, James and Jacob Vetrovsky and Jade Knight; and a great grandchild, Anastasia Knight.
