Biography

Margaret Shipman, 83, died Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at Hillcrest Nursing Home.

Margaret was born on January 21, 1921, at Des Moines, Iowa to Albert Lee and Faye Viola (Covalt) Shipman, Sr. She attended rural school in Alliance, NE. She had been living in McCook for many years, first at the Townhouse and most recently at Hillcrest.

Margaret was a homemaker and spent many hours watching movies and listening to the radio.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Albert and Faye Shipman; step-father, Louis Biltoft; one brother, Albert Shipman and infant brother.

Survivors include her two daughters, Phyllis Biltoft of Alliance and Evelyn Goodshot-Segovia of Denver, CO; and three grandchildren.

There will be no local services. A private family inurnment will be at a later time.

Memorials may be given in her name.
