Marion Eugene Brunswick, age 69 of McCook, Nebraska passed away with family by his side Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in McCook.

Marion was born June 4, 1945 in McCook, to parents Lewis M. and Dorothy G. (Bonar) Brunswick.

Marion married Selma "Sam" Martin in McCook on April 27, 1968. The couple made their home in McCook where Marion owned and operated M&S Brunswick Trucking, LLC. During his trucking career he traveled to all of the lower 48 states and Canada.

Marion had a passion for anything mechanical wither it be his beloved truck, old cars or working with his daughter and son on derby cars or motorcycles. He enjoyed Husker football, hunting, fishing, yard work, remodeling and especially spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marion never knew a stranger and loved to visit with people.

Marion is preceded in death by his parents; one brother Byron; two sisters Grace Brunswick and Dora Farr; and two step brothers Don Brunswick and LaVern Brunswick.

Marion is survived by his wife Sam of McCook; son Christopher Brunswick of McCook; daughter Corina Fritz of McCook; step daughters Pamela (Steve) Brunswick of McCook and Tamara Clapp of McCook; brothers Manny (Vonda) Brunswick of Kearney, NE and Wayne Brunswick of McCook; sisters Darlene (Jerry) Lambert of McCook and Donna Salliday of Manhattan, KS. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Memorials are suggested to the family to be used in Marion's name.

Memorial services will be held Monday, December 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Davis, officiating.
