Mary Green

Mrs. Mary S. Green, age 80, of McCook, NE passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Community Hospital in McCook.

Mary was born October 8, 1940 in Louisville, KY to parents John Gilbert and Gladys Louise (McCoy) Crady.  Mary attended school in the Denver, CO area, graduating from high school in 1958.

On March 20, 1963, Mary married the love of her life, Charles Green in Denver.  The couple became the proud parents of two children: Heather and Brendan.

Mary enjoyed working crossword puzzles and she loved animals.  Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved following their extracurricular activities. Charles and Mary moved to the McCook community from Cheyenne Wells, CO in 2002.  Mary was very kind and will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and brother in law, Marion Fisher.

Those left to celebrate her life include her husband, Charles Green of McCook; children, Heather (Jerry) Harvie of McCook and Brendan (Rachelle) Green of Nampa, ID; half-sisters, Samantha Fisher and Patsy Layne (Ken DeWire) all of Washington state; and her four grandchildren, Drew and Dylan Harvie and Garrett and Hudson Green.
