Maxine P. Kahler

Maxine P. Kahler, age 90 of McCook, Nebraska passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook.

Maxine was born April, 3 1928 to Wenzel and Myrtle (Littell) Kahler in Hayes County, NE.

Maxine loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed sewing and bird watching.  Maxine was an animal lover especially her dogs.

Maxine  is survived by; son, Dallas McMichael of Culbertson, NE; daughters, Gale and husband David Hanes of Culbertson, NE, Janice Bailey and Janett and husband Terry Smith both of Loveland CO; brother, Wenzel Jr. (Linda) Kahler of North Platte; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Almetta Kahler, Oletta Kahler, Mary Ann Magnani and Yvonne Dybdahl; two brothers, Clifford Kahler, Larry Kahler; and two sons, Blaine Andrews and Lloyd Clark; two grandsons Travis McMichael and Randy Clark; one granddaughter Shenoaha Clark.

Memorial services will be held in the country at 39012 Road 716, McCook, on May 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM.

Memorials may be given to the McCook Humane Society, 100 South St McCook, NE 69001.
