Michael Lee Erickson, Jr. of Lincoln, formerly of Culbertson, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at his home. He was 20 years old.

Mikey was born on December 4, 1994 at Laramie, Wyoming to parents, Michael Lee and Alissa Marie (Brennan) Erickson, Sr. He graduated from McCook High School in 2014. He attended Southeast Community College in Lincoln. He was currently working for Kay Jewelers as an apprentice and was making plans to become a gemologist.

Mikey loved the outdoors where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time and playing with his younger siblings. He loved unique animals and was planning on buying himself and his siblings each a hedgehog.

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandfather, Jake Brennan and paternal grandparents, Jim and Lois Mutschler.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Alissa Erickson, Sr. of Culbertson; siblings, Alexandria, Galayna, Theron, Brendan, and soon to be born baby brother Ivan all of the home; grandmother, Gloria Brennan of Culbertson; aunts and uncles, Bob and Julie Hayes and Kris and Deb Seimsen of all of Cheyenne, WY and Chris Brennan and Megan Sukup of North Platte; numerous great-aunts, great- uncles, and cousins; special friend, Chelcee Hrnchir of Trenton; and a host of family and friends.

Memorials may be given in his name.

Memorial services will be Saturday, December 13, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Brad Brauer officiating. A private family inurnment will be at a later time in the Culbertson Cemetery.
