Biography

Richard W. Dack, Sr., age 53, died Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Hillcrest Nursing Home.

He was born September 11, 1956 to Robert and Betty Louise (Burton) Dack in McCook. He attended McCook Public Schools.

He married Shirley K. Leibrandt in McCook on March 21, 1975.

He worked at Dayco Rubber Hose plant for 27 years. He enjoyed his family, fishing and Cornhusker football. He was a member of High Plains Drifters motorcycle club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty; sister, Jana Biltoft; and great niece, Kiley Dack.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Dack of McCook; sons, Richard Dack Jr. and wife, Debra, Stephen Dack and wife, Elizabeth and Keenan Dack all of McCook; step-daughter, Staci Jording of McCook; brothers, Robert Dack of North Platte and Dana Dack of McCook; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Memorials were to be given in his name to Multiple Sclerosis.

Funeral services were Thursday, October 29, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home. Burial took place in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
