Richard Dale Hawthorne, age 63, of McCook, NE passed away at his home on Sunday, March 3, 2019.

Richard was born in McCook on August 12, 1955 to parents Glenn and Ruth (Turner) Hawthorne.  He was the fifth of six siblings.  Throughout his life, Richard loved music, dancing, bowling and especially ice cream.  He was employed by SWATS and loved his family there.  Richard was also a member of McCook Christian Church.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brother in law, Steve Baldwin; a niece, Lauri King and a nephew, Ethan O'Neal.

Those left to celebrate his life include his siblings, brother, Dave (Melanie) Hawthorne of Hutchinson, KS, and four sisters, Anita Baldwin of Union Grove, NC, Joy (Keith) Kirk of Wichita, KS, Mary (Larry) Foster of Wichita, KS and Becky (Lamoine) King of Goddard, KS; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
