Richard Junker

Richard G. Junker, age 75, of McCook, NE passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 in McCook.

Rich was born January 31, 1947 in McCook to parents Floyd E. and Elizabeth M. (Lehn) Junker.  He was one of seven children who attended Red Willow High School, graduating in 1965.

Rich was employed by Dayco and a father of three children.  In his free time, he enjoyed playing pool and was a member of the American Pool Association.

Rich was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Eddie, Tom and Shorty.

Those left to celebrate his life include his children, Mike (Jessica) Junker of Omaha, NE, Melissa (Steve) Broomfield of McCook and Matt (Anna) Junker of North Platte, NE; one brother, Pat (Kem) Junker of California; two sisters, Marie (Jim) Almquist of Colorado and Connie Shivley of Overton, NE; as well as his five grandchildren.
