Rosemary Catt

Rosemary Catt, age 93, of Lebanon, NE passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Community Hospital in McCook, NE.

Rosemary was born November 23, 1923 in Lebanon to parents Michael and Mary C. (Clemons) DeVoe.  Rosemary grew up in Lebanon, one of three children.  She graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1940.

Rosemary married the love of her life, Orval “Wayne” Catt on March 11, 1944 in Norton, KS.  The couple made their home in Lebanon and were blessed with three children.  Rosemary enjoyed being a homemaker and especially loved to cook for her family and many friends.  She also enjoyed playing card games and bingo.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne Catt in 2002; two brothers, Richard and Bill; and great granddaughter, Lacey Haas.

She is survived by her son, Gene (Judy) Catt of McCook; two daughters, Kathy (Jim) Hendricks of Gothenburg, NE and Sherryl Hass and fiancé Richard Brazil of Glendale, AZ: sister in law, Angie DeVoe of Gretna, NE; eight grandchildren as well as numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 2 to 8PM at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home in McCook.

Funeral Services will also take place at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 beginning at 2PM with Pastor Dale Heimer officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon.
