Shaunn C Stanley

Shaunn Christian Stanley, age 48, of Curtis, NE passed away as the result of a motor vehicle accident near McCook, NE on Thursday, March 9, 2023.

Shaunn was born June 16, 1974 in Castro Valley, CA to parents Martin and Lorraine (Steves) Stanley.  He was one of four children.

Following high school,  he attended Lake area Tech in Watertown, SD.  Shaunn served his country in the United States Army National Guard with unit 2B/147 FA from December 1996 until his honorable discharge in August 2008.

On September 21, 2003, Shaunn married Trishia Stanley in Aberdeen, SD. The became parents to a son, Mathurian.

Shaunn loved reading, gaming, especially playing video games with his son, and spending time with his online community on YouTube. He was most recently employed at Parker Hannifin in McCook.

Shaunn was preceded in death by his father in 2022, step father Donald Freund and grandparents, Rod and Ida Steves

Those left to celebrate his life include his son, Mathurian Stanley of Rapid City, SD; mother, Lorraine Freund of Wichita Falls, TX; and his siblings, John (Cindy) Anway of Shelton, WA, Rodney Anway of Medford, OR and Sheila (William) Ferrebee of Modesto, CA.

Private Memorial Services will be held at a late date.
