Siegrid Wilmot

Siegrid Wilmot, age 83, of Trenton, NE passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at El Dorado Manor in Trenton.

Siegrid was born December 16, 1938 in Breslau, Germany to parents Reinhard and Erna (Haenisch) Ringel.  She was one of two siblings who grew up in Germany where she also attended school, completing two years of business college. Siegrid moved to the United States in 1960 and became a US Citizen in 1965.

Siegrid married Duane Wilmot of McCook, NE and became a stepparent to his son, Cliff.  Siegrid and Duane owned and operated the Wilmot Supper Club for many years.  Siegrid enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting, water skiing and kayaking.  She was also very fond of small animals.

Siegrid was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane Wilmot in 1999; and her brother, Fred Ringel.

Those left to celebrate her life include her stepson, Cliff Wilmot of Wilsonville, NE; sister in law, Inge Ringel of Germany; and several close friends which include Fred and Holly Kennedy of Indianola, NE.
