Sylvia Robin Ahrens died at her home in McCook, Thursday, December 25, 2008. She was 4 months and 28 days old.

She was born July 27, 2008 in McCook to Kenneth M. and Katrina M. (Weaver) Ahrens.

Preceding her in death was: Great grandparents Albert "Bud "Ahrens and Ira McAfoos and great-great-grandparents, Minnie Ahrens and Francis Ahrens.

Survivors include her parents, Ken and Katrina; a brother, Erik all of McCook; grandparents, Buddy Ahrens of McCook, Kristine Ahrens of Colby, Kansas, Kenneth and Mary Weaver of Wahoo; an uncle, several aunts and a cousin.

Memorials were being accepted in her name.

Funeral services were Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home in McCook with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating. Burial took place in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
