Thomas "Tom" DeBauche

Thomas "Tom" Gene DeBauche passed away September 21, 2013 in Lincoln, NE.
Tom was born on September 22, 1939 to Russell Earl DeBauche and Hazel Marie Carrier at Whiting Iowa. He was the second of eight children. Tom attended and graduated high school from Onawa, IA in 1957.
On June 4, 1958 he married Wilburta "Bertie" Sue Carroll. To this union 4 children were born. Tim Earl, Terry Lee, Ted Everett, Tina Marie.
Tom was a life long farmer and enjoyed his animals. While farming in Iowa he served on the Pork Producers Board. In 1982 the family moved to Indianola where he worked at Dayco Hose Plant for 20 years. After retiring he became a door greeter at Walmart up until his time of death.
Tom enjoyed his family, gardening, and fishing in his spare time. Tom always had a story to tell and a hug to share.
Tom is survived by his wife of 55 years Wilburta of Indianola, NE; daughter-in-law Sally DeBauche of Merna NE, Terry and Deborah DeBauche of Elbert CO, Tina and Jerry Kircher of Indianola, NE; grandchildren, Joel & Sara DeBauche of Plattsmouth NE, Jodi DeBauche of Bellevue NE, Spencer DeBauche and fiancee Hanna Wisner of Durango, CO, Ethan DeBauche and special friend Mandy Aldrich of Durango, CO, Adrienne DeBauche of Elbert, CO, Kenton Kircher of Grand Island, NE, Shelby Kircher and special friend Tony Brown of Trenton, NE, Logan Kircher of Indianola, NE, Emily Kircher of Indianola, NE, two great grandchildren, Kayleen and Payton DeBauche of Plattsmouth, NE; three Brothers Jim (Nelma) DeBauche , Ed DeBauche and Bill DeBauche, four Sisters Linda (Tom) Black, Judy (Butch) Shaffer, Kathy (Alan) Foy, Nancy (Ron) Davis Sister-in-law Crystal (Gene) Ward; and brother-in-law Jim (Judy) Carroll.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and sons Tim in 2010 and Ted at birth.
Memorials are suggested to the Donor's Choice.
Visitation will be held Tuesday September 24, 2013 from 1-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6- 8 p.m. at Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home in McCook.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Grove Cemetery in Indianola, NE.
