Vera Mae (Jones) Miller, 92, was born May 14, 1912 at Lebanon to Leslie Franklin and Mary Atillia (Bush) Jones. She departed this world on February 8, 2005 at the age of 92 in Cambridge, Nebraska.

She was married in Oberlin, Kansas to Eugene V. Miller on March 18, 1934. She was owner/operator of Circle M Ceramics.

Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, on June 27, 1971; her parents, Leslie and Mary Jones; a brother, Harold Jones; and a great-grandson, James Burton.

Survivors include two daughters, Enid Ruckman of Brownwood, Texas and Barbara Anderson and husband, Allan, of McCook; six grandchildren Aleah and Brian Geiger, Jerry E. Hilsinger, Jana and John Boutwell, Darrell Hilsinger and CJ Jeffers, Kirby and Laura Anderson, Valerie and Mike Kircher; 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; a nephew Gerald Jones and wife Janice of Woodland Hills, CA.

In lieu of flowers memorials were to be given to the Cambridge Manor.

Graveside services were Friday, February 11, 2005, 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook with Father Robert Barnhill officiating.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
