William "Bill" K. Loghry, age 80, formerly of McCook, NE passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, in Elkhorn, NE.

Bill was born on May 2, 1945, in Maywood, NE to parents Lloyd K. and Dorothy Irene (Vaughn) Loghry. Bill attended and graduated from high school from Maywood in 1963.

Bill served in Company B, 128th Engineer Battalion in McCook, NE as a Private First Class.

On December 18, 1974, Bill married Judith “Judy” Kathleen (Haag) Loghry in McCook where the couple made their home and were blessed with five children.

Bill was a past member of the Elks and Eagles Clubs in McCook. He was also a member of Cornerstone Fellowship church in McCook. He owned and operated Billy Loghry Trucking for decades and employed dozens of drivers in the area. Bill was an over-the-road truck driver himself for many years, as being on the road brought him much joy and happiness. Billy Loghry Trucking also sponsored a number of sports teams in McCook over the years, including youth baseball and volleyball.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife Judy Loghry; and one brother-in-law Jim Widhelm.

Those left to celebrate his memory sons, Stuart (Shonda) Grant, Bill (LeAnn) Loghry and Jacob (Elizabeth) Loghry, all of Omaha, NE; daughters, Kimberly (Tom) Mosher of Farmington, MN and Andrea Loghry of McCook, NE; brothers, Robert (Mary) Loghry of Oberlin, KS, and Gregg Loghry of Benkelman, NE; sisters Peggy (Dennis) Kennedy of Culbertson, NE, and Kay Widhelm of Ardmore, OK; ten grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to SWATS, 506 East 12th , McCook, NE 69001.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home, McCook.

A funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Cornerstone Fellowship church with Pastor Rob Putz officiating.

Burial with military honors will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, McCook.
