Daniel Wages

Daniel S. Wages, age 59, of Indianola, NE passed away at his home in Indianola on Sunday, May 1, 2022.

Daniel was born February 25, 1963 in Canoga Park, CA to parents Hartsel and Sharron (Jones) Wages.   He was one of four siblings who grew up in California, graduating from Shasta High School in Redding with the Class of 1981.

Following high school, Daniel married Janice Wages. The couple was blessed with four daughters.  Daniel worked as a firefighter while living in Redding. The family moved to the Cedar Bluffs, KS area in 2009 and Daniel began farming and ranching for Moore & sons.  Daniel enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to celebrate his life include his wife, Janice Wages of McCook, NE; daughters, Sadie (Daniel) Best of McCook, Krista Siebler of Oregan, Dana (Mike) Seher of Pheonix, AZ and Tracy Kliebe of Redding, CA; brother, David Wages of Reno, NV; sisters, Mary Wages and Rosie (Randy) Wyckoff, all of Redding; eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Memorial contributions are suggested in Daniel’s name for future designation. Contributions may be directed to Carpenter Breland Funeral Home, c/o the Wages Family, PO Box 476, McCook, NE 69001.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
