Patricia Louise McConville

Patricia Louise McConville, age 85, of McCook, NE passed away at her home in McCook on Monday, January 16, 2023.

Pat was born February 10, 1937 in Trenton, NE to parents Paul and Louise E. (Balard) Miller. She was one of two siblings.  Pat attended school in both Trenton and Stratton, graduating from Stratton with the Class of 1955. 

Later that same year, Pat married John E. McConville on September 8, 1955.  The couple was blessed with a son, James.  Pat was baptized at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Indianola, NE.

Pat loved all animals, especially horses, and enjoyed serving on the Red Willow County Sherriff’s Posse.  She passed away peacefully with her dog on her lap.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John McConville; son, James McConville; and brother, Ray Miller.

Those left to celebrate her life include her grandsons, Brad (Amber) McConville of North Platte, NE, Scott McConville of McCook and Dan McConville of Oakley, KS; daughter in law, Mary Austin of McCook; sister-in-law, Karen Miller of McCook and seven great grandchildren, Hunter, Christopher, Nichole, Johnathan, Addison, Wyatt and Bella.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the McCook Humane Society, PO Box 13, McCook, NE 69001.

Visitation with family greeting friends will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home, McCook.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, January 20, 2023 at McCook Christian Church with Pastor Kyle Dellevoet and Jessica Meyer officiating.
